If anyone out there is interested in swapping out for a more eco-friendly all-purpose cleaner, Charlie's Soap makes a cleaning spray (in addition to their laundry soap) that is really good. I use it to remove marks on my baseboards, scrub kitchen tile, and for tough spots anywhere. Simple Green is a good product for daily cleaning.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03929290747231959841noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3522561261572333129.post-77671054606699698212010-02-23T20:05:44.113-05:002010-02-23T20:05:44.113-05:00This is so helpful!! The ba...I found an AWESOME PRODUCT a few weeks ago. The backstory: My husband and I built a new house exactly one year ago and have all new applicances. We chose a 5 burner gas range that has a black cooktop and metal grates over it. Love the stove, hate the mess it shows! After probably 1 month of use, the black cooktop was all streaky, showed burned on messes, ect. We tried everything over the past 10 months or so to clean it up like our shark steamer, magic erasers, a razor blade, and even my old stand by.....Soft Scrub! My husband even googled for advice and we tried a paste of baking soda and water.....FYI: It just creates a disaster! Finally, about 3 weeks ago, I was grocery shopping and came across Weiman Glass Cook Top Cleaner and scrubbing pads. Combined it was about $11 for both but I figured it was worth a shot....didn't actually think it would work though. No kidding - I poured the cream based solution all around the cooktop, used a scrubbing pad for maybe like 30 seconds, wiped it with a paper towel.......EVERYTHING WAS GONE! I screamed for my husband; neither of us could believe that some grocery store product got off an entire years worth of grime and less than a minute.
This turned into a really long post (sorry!) but I wanted to let you and your readers know that this stuff actually works!!!!!!Allisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01720500000793635315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3522561261572333129.post-30140815259281569892010-02-22T23:31:53.888-05:002010-02-22T23:31:53.888-05:00great list!great list!Jeanettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08584377675862852816noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3522561261572333129.post-8596491862882972992010-02-22T22:43:10.655-05:002010-02-22T22:43:10.655-05:00thank you thank you thank you this is a great list...thank you thank you thank you this is a great list to work from!!Gingerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07795344042152429323noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3522561261572333129.post-36080977452467385692010-02-22T22:11:23.308-05:002010-02-22T22:11:23.308-05:00I'm addicted to Clorox wipes too.:)I'm addicted to Clorox wipes too.:)Stephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08656679708916347404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3522561261572333129.post-68685135149998265252010-02-22T21:52:46.803-05:002010-02-22T21:52:46.803-05:00I also shy away from using baking soda/vinegar bec...I also shy away from using baking soda/vinegar because I like to KNOW that what I cleaned has been DISINFECTED. I do enjoy the Clorox Greenworks line, and have swapped some of our products and am eliminating most of my Clorox wipe/paper towel usage.

And Tilex Mold and Mildew is the best.thing.ever!Giahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17071674789103408260noreply@blogger.com
