Monday Morning Weekend Roundup

Rather than wish this Monday away, I'm going to start it out positive. Yay Monday! Yep, I'm Miss Optimistic, and I didn't even get all my tasks done this weekend. Wondering why I'm still so chipper? My sister had her baby on Saturday! I am officially an aunt 13 times over. (still one on the way....) She had a healthy baby boy VERY early on Saturday morning. So of course my plans were sidetracked as I had much more important things to tend to instead of chores! Although, I still managed to fit some in, as well as some productive unexpected ones. Let's see how it shook out.

Friday
Carl:
Purchase the trim and start building the casings for the windows on the front side of the house

Molly:
Organize the extra shoes that have accumulated throughout the house- "file" in the Shoes Under bins

Both:
Go out to dinner with friends :)

Saturday
Carl:
Continue working on the casings

Molly:
Empty out and clean all the cupboards in the kitchen (I got about half of them done between Sat & Sun)
Go meet Sean!

Both:
Go to my nephew's birthday party

Sunday
Both:
Paint spare bedroom/guitar room

Carl:
Finish building the casings for the front of the house Clean out the garage

Molly:
Empty out and clean all the cupboards in the kitchen (I got about half of them done between Sat & Sun)
Make THREE freezer meals for my sister- I doubled each batch so we both get one of each meal

So introducing Sean William:
Oh I just want to squeeze him all day long!

This week is going to be extremely busy as I'll fit in the rest of the cupboards, plus more baby visits (so I can drop off the freezer meals), and a whole bunch more! I hope you had a productive and/or exciting and or relaxing weekend too!
