Tackle It Tuesday: Just Get It Done!

I've been feeling a bit under the weather lately, and the last thing I wanted to do tonight was clean the floors. I would have been perfectly happy browsing the net and watching The Biggest Loser, but it's that attitude that was making my house cluttered and messy just a year ago. So I reminded myself how great it feels to have the floors done and smell the wonderful fresh scent and got myself up out of the chair and cleaned them! Ta da! Clean floors:
See that little leg in the top left corner peeking in? That would be your sneak peek at a post I'll soon do on the tables Carl made for our family room. It won't be long though. And you can also see my most favorite rug in the house!

Moving on. I've told you about cleaning the wood floors before, so I felt as though this post was going to be a little boring for you. So I opted to push just a little further, and tackle one more project. ::::start eerie scary spooky music here:::: My Jewelry Box. Eep. It is a perpetual problem, but the one thing I do know is that if it is organized, I'm much more likely to wear all the pretties that are in there! So, organized it is now. (So sorry I didn't take a before pic...you would have appreciated it I know!)

So that was pretty much it for me tonight. Well that and my normal Happy House Cleaning Challenge projects. Did you tackle anything tonight? I love hearing about your projects! It gives ME inspiration!

  1. We finished our deep clean of all the windows and blinds today. Whew! And I got a head start on the potato soup that I plan to make tomorrow. Cannot wait!

  2. I'm about a week behind but over the last week we baby proofed the kitchen cabinets and I cleaned the kitchen appliances (well, just the surfaces of the fridge, dishwasher and stovetop - didn't have a chance to do the oven). I really want to organize the outwear closet next since we're getting ready to need our winter items soon!
