The other day I posted this picture saying one of these sheets was the impossible-to-fold fitted sheet.
Does it even really matter? They both look lovely, right? Well, if it does, it's the top one. More importantly, how do you achieve that nice, crisp folded fitted sheet? No more shouting $%^& it, rolling it in a ball and throwing it in the linen closet. It's time to learn how to do the impossible.
If anything isn't clear, please just let me know! Making a vlog with a whiny, woke-up-from-his-nap-early, mobile, 9 month old isn't as easy as it sounds :/ Feel free to ask any questions in the comments, or for an easier reply, use the My Happy House Facebook Page!
Lastly, I'm always willing to take requests on tutorials! Just throw it at me! Except for ironing and hospital corners. Carl does his own ironing (shocking, right?) and he doesn't allow me to tuck in his side of the sheet because his feet need freedom at night :)

That's great. I learned a new trick (I never put all the corners together before; usually I go from the half fold, to laying it down and folding but yours is neater I think).
ReplyDeleteThen what I do, is put the fitted, the flat and a pillow case all inside the other pillow case (inside out). Then stack it in the cupboard. When I go to change the sheets I don't have to worry about everything else tumbling out; everything I need is together.
I'm going to have to go pull all my fitted sheets out of the drawers and fold them now!
ReplyDeleteI never knew folding a fitted sheet was a one person job. My husband will be thrilled! :)
ReplyDeleteYou have no idea how much I adore you for posting this!
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting this! It seems so much easier & neater than how I do it! By the way, I love your accent (I'm from the south, so it's definitely different than mine). :)
ReplyDeleteYou are a genius!
ReplyDeleteHa! I'm the second Nancy to post a comment! I'm going to try it! You make it look so simple. Hope it works!
ReplyDeleteCould you please post a video on your routine for cleaning the shower? I also use the Method Daily Shower spray idea, but I am wondering what you do to deep clean your shower.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the vlogs!
Great tutorial! I will definitely be using this for future sheet folding adventures!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I would love a tutorial on how you clean bathroom sink fixtures! I typically use plain old vinegar and a microfiber cloth, but I'm wondering if there is a better way?
Ok Molly. I practiced folding my sheet along with your vlog- Ryan walked in and asked if I was doing a new exercise video. My sheet doesn't look as pretty as yours, but I didn't $%#& so I think I'm OK :)
ReplyDeleteI will be practicing this week! Thanks! How about a smile on your next vlog! :)
ReplyDeleteI SO love this! Definitely helps me fit more into the linen closet.
