Warning: I'm about to Vlog! Folding Towels Tutorial

By request, I am showing you how I fold my towels. I learned from the greatest laundry folder ever, my Mom. She rocks....at folding socks. And anything else that requires folding. Anyway, brace yourselves. (Please note: the quality of this video is anything but stellar, but it worked for the amount of time I had. I do apologize in advance.)

So...yeah, my video debut in the blogging world. Not 100% sure how I feel about that. But I'll do just about anything for my readers! You better appreciate this Lindsay! And if you have a request for any other house tutorials, just ask! Your wish just might be granted :)

  3. You rock :) And that's exactly how I fold our towels too! And I agree with Mrs. Williams, show us the trick to fitted sheets and I'll worship!

  4. I love this simple video, and your blog! I wanted to comment specifically here to say that this has become my go-to home keeping blog. I found you through D&R board on the nest, and to me you have become the new Katie#### (did you ever read her blog--the Hyper Homemaker? She took that blog down). Anyway, thanks for this blog. I used to follow Flylady a long time ago, but I don't need her system anymore. Your site and challenges help to keep me motivated to keep my home!

  5. I think that's how I pictured you talking. :) Great vlog. I'm not brave enough...yet. But I agree with Mrs. Williams...get me a fitted sheet tutorial and you'll be a lifesaver.

  7. I love the video! I never thought to fold my towels like that - I just fold in half, and in half, and half again. They look much prettier your way!! I second (third, fourth, however many) the fitted sheet tutorial! My mom was always so good at it, but I can never get it right! The best part is, if you get it folded flat and tight enough, a whole bed set will fit inside a pillowcase and you'll never have to go digging for the missing sheet/pillowcase again! Great job on the video =)

  8. Great video! I never thought to fold my towels that way, they look so much prettier than mine! I second, third, fourth, whatever the fitted sheet tutorial - my mom was so good at them, but I could never make them look nice once they came out of the package! The best part is if you get it flat enough, you should be able to fit the whole set inside one of the pillowcases!

  10. That's how my Mom taught me to fold towels too! That way, you don't have any edges showing in the linen closet. She never taught me how to fold a fitted sheet though. Fitted sheet tutorial pretty please!

  12. Me too! And I soooo second the request for sheets, especially fitted ones. I just wash mine and put them right back on, and don't open the next package til our sheets are worn out - THAT'S how much I hate folding fitted sheets. Plus I like the fresh out of the dryer smell.
